How to Prepare for a Microneedling
Sun
Avoid direct sun exposure and wear a high SPF sunscreen to protect your skin. Sun damage can make your skin more sensitive and increase the risk of adverse reactions to the treatment.
Medications
Certain medications, such as blood thinners and anti-inflammatory drugs, can increase the risk of bleeding and bruising during and after the treatment. Check with your Therapist and Doctor whether you should avoid these medications before the treatment.
Hydrate:
Stay well-hydrated before and after the treatment to help your body heal and recover faster.
Aftercare
Skin Care
Apply a gentle moisturizer and sunscreen regularly to the treated area to keep the skin hydrated and protected from the sun.
It’s tempting, but avoid touching, scratching, or picking at the treated area for at least 24 hours to prevent infection or irritation.
Hold off using makeup or other skin care products on the treated area for at least 24 hours to allow the skin to fully recover.
Heat
Avoid sun exposure, saunas, hot tubs, and strenuous exercise for at least 24-48 hours after treatment to minimize any irritation or inflammation.
Hydration and Nutrition
Drink plenty of water and eat a healthy, well-balanced diet to help your body heal and recover faster.

Morpheus8 RF Microneedling is suitable for most individuals who want to improve the appearance of their skin. It’s great to address fine lines, wrinkles, skin tightening, acne scars, stretch marks, or uneven skin tone and texture. However, it may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions, such as active infections or autoimmune disorders.
Visible results can be seen within a few days but are best noticeable after 6 weeks with improvements continuing up to 12 months after treatment.
The results can last a year or more, depending on your skin type and the number of treatments. For optimal maintenance, we recommend touch-up treatments as needed.
Most clients describe Morpheus8 as a tolerable treatment, and we’ll use topical anesthetic to keep you comfortable.
As with any cosmetic treatment, there are some risks and side effects associated with Microneedling. These may include redness, swelling, bruising, and mild discomfort in the treated area.
